BIGBANG IN THE RING. My jaw dropped when I saw this! So many editorials for BB's comeback. BB is featured on VOGUE KOREA March 2012 edition. I really love the styling in this editorial, because it has concept, yet they still look super chic and cool. I really love GD and TOP's shot the most. GD really can pull off wearing womenswear collection. He wore Celine Resort 2012 collection on the first pic. One of the reasons why I love BB is because they're very stylo (aka stylish). I ordered the magazine from ebay, but I'm not sure when it's gonna arrive, so just in case I also asked my friends to bought it from me when they're going to Korea in the upcoming week. I heard the editorial is supposed to be around 16-21 pages. Can you believe that? I just can't wait to see them all, I will certainly update this post again :D

Finally, finally, BIGBANG is BACK! I don't have anything to say regarding the MV. I just love the song so much, the styling, I don't really have anything to complain though. I'm just thankful that the boys can have a comeback after all the hardships that they went through last year. I just can't wait for all the rest of 5 or 6 MVs. I can't wait for ALIVE World Tour that Laurieann Gibson (yes, the director for Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour, that amazing dancer/choreographer). I'm just so proud right now :) BIGBANG JJANG~

If you follow my twitter, you must have noticed that I tweet a lot about BIGBANG, maybe its too much, but I just can't contain the anticipation about BIGBANG's comeback! I think TOP is one of the most handsome man I've ever seen in my life. And the fact that he's such a dork makes him even more attractive. Went for a short "refreshing" trip to Singapore on the weekend, finally met my parents again after a pretty long time. This is the first time for me to be somewhat separated from them. I believe that everything will be okay. Anyways... I felt something weird in my stomach and heart, I'm not sad, I'm happy, but I'm not that happy. I really don't know what to feel, but I'm just trying to let everything go. As always, I think too much way way too much. I'm a big fan of Sofia Coppola's work. I just love how she direct and how the pictures came out in frames. I love her works like The Virgin Suicide and Marie Antoinette. Her direction in those films also came out in this MARNI for H&M video. Shot in Marrakesh, the models include Imogen Poots (if I'm not wrong she also played in Breaking Dawn), also spotted Dexter Jones and Liu Wen. What do you think? G-Dragon aka Kwon Ji Yong (권지용) aka GD aka BIGBANG's fierce leader on HIGH CUT Vol 70. This year is the year of the Dragonm and it can't be more appropriate rather than have the "Dragon" himself gracing in this photoshoot. Yong (from Kwon Ji Yong, his name) means Dragon in Korean, and Ji is read as "G" in English, so it all make sense when he has his stage name, G-Dragon. I just love this editorial. I found it very cute, and the two female models are just so pretty. Their hair is just perfect. I also love GD's hair in this photoshoot. Loving the styling also, I read somewhere that most of the clothes that he wore in this photoshoot are from BEANPOLE. Loving the not-permanent tattoo on his fingers, it says "FAME KILLS". First time in months to be home on Saturday and Sunday. Didn't do anything much these two days, just taking a break from everything. Even though I really want to go out, but it seems like it's better for me just to stay at home. I watched City Hunter and various Korean variety shows, browsed around, sleep, and eat :D I finally get the chance to relax, but the thing when I relax, I tend to think a lot, and I overthink. Since I don't have any recent outfit pics, I'm just gonna post my instagram pics from the last few weeks. This picture was taken exactly a week ago at KOI Kemang. It's one of my favorite hangout places, and it's Justine's favorite place too. Me and Justine has been friends for almost 4 years? We were uni friends and even though there were some things we went through few years ago, I know I still can count her as one of my best friends. It made me really sad when I know she's going back to Philippine soon ㅠ_ㅠ. I feel that I haven't been the 'best' friend for her, but I wish her all the best for her new job, and I hope I could visit her in Cebu this year, along with my other uni friends.

Few of my friends have been warning me about the working world, about how you can't get too close with your colleagues, and how your private lives should me off-limits to your working partners. But, I guess this rule doesn't apply to these beautiful 3 girls :) I'm very thankful that I get to meet these three ladies, where I could share my thoughts both work and life matters. I really don't know what would I do if I don't have them in my office. I will treasure this friendship forever. Annyeong! :D

This girl, I don't know where to begin with this one.. I've been friends with her since I was still a very little girl. I knew her since we were 2, because our parents work in the same company. I haven't met her for a very long time since she's working in the States and there is no words to describe how much I miss her :( This person knows everything from A to Z about me, and do you have that one friend when you go out together, you just don't talk, just sit there, reading something, but it's perfectly okay because it's not awkward at all to have no communication at that peaceful moment. She's that one friend that no matter how far distance separate us, no matter how seldom we BBM/Chat/Skype, we know that we're going to have always each other no matter what :) Aahh.. I miss you dut ㅠ_ㅠ

In the end, there are few other friends that I would like to mention, but I don't feel that it's the appropriate thing to do since it might cause a stir. But I just want to say thank you, to you! For being who you are, and always be there even though you are busy, I wish you know how much you mean to me and I hope you know kekeke~ Thank you for supporting me especially during this hard time. Your wise words always stay in my brain :D I appreciate everything.

The new Karl Lagerfeld line, KARL has finally arrived in stores all around the world. I got to see the collection from net-a-porter.com (and where I got these images) and it is the cheaper line from KARL LAGERFELD. I found the collection is pretty.. youthful and really modern. For me, I can see Freja Beha wearing this collection, the biker jackets remind me of Alexander Wang collection. Loving the detachable collars, but I won't spend 2 million rupiahs just for detachable collar. I'm considering buying the t-shirt though :)

It's Haute Couture season all over again, I've always looking forward to this period of time, you can see all the glamorous gowns and extraordinary clothes worn by beautiful skinny models :) I'm loving the color palette, but don't you just think this particular collection resembles someone's collection? Not one designer, but two or three that I could recall. This particular gown reminds me of Marc Jacobs SS2011 Collection mixed with Gucci SS2011. And the gold big rose choker, isn't it very Lanvin-ish? I remember that Albert Elbaz used it in his Lanvin FW2011 collection. Anyway still, the first gown is my favorite :)

I absolutely love the gowns collection from NINA RICCI Pre-Fall 2012. I adore this blush colored gown with asymmetrical ruffles at the front and the burgundy colored gown with zipper detail below. I love how they keep light colors on their Fall collection as you know during Fall, most people tend to dress in dark colors which caused me a lot of stress, because everytime I go to ZARA all I see is dark or neutral color apparels. I can't stand them. I just need colors in my life, light, bright ones! It's a relieve to see fuchsia, raspberry tones on Christian Dior Pre-Fall 2012 and Giambattista Valli Haute Couture Spring 2012 collection :D

I remember how I used to wear blue nail polish everyday when I was still in Junior High School which was… 10 years ago? Eek! Feels so old suddenly.. Anyway, saya suka banget pakai nail polish, and I was so happy when I received these two colors from Revlon.

The white top on the first picture, would be a nice staple to have, and also.. For the S/S 2012 trend, the maxi skirt with slit on the side. Lovely.

BLACK AREA by CLEAR Party

Few weeks ago, CLEAR held an event to thank CLEAR users and celebrate their success on their relaunch mid 2011. The event was called BLACK AREA by CLEAR (BLACK which comes from CLEAR brand identity) where CLEAR ambassadors: Ello and Sherina Munaf came to perform, and not forgetting performance by Agnes Monica as their new Brand Ambassador.

The event was held during the Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) 2011 because CLEAR thought that it was the best place where music, style, and breakthrough being projected all together and those are precisely what CLEAR key brands all about. I didn’t attend the event, but I read in Twitter that people who were there were really enjoying the party. I saw some pictures they posted, too. It looked like one cool party. And I think the dress code was black, because from the bits and pieces I saw, all the stylish people there were wearing black outfit.

For me, by choosing Agnes Monica as a Brand Ambassador is a really good move by CLEAR. As you all know that Agnes Monica is one of the most successful female singer slash actress in Indonesia, and I almost never watch or even listen to Indonesia's music or movies, but Agnes is one actress/singer that I could really respect. She's one of the most respected people in the entertainment industry, in my honest opinion. She's very inspiring as a role model, who Indonesian youth can relate to. Anyways, during the event, Agnes showed up in a very sexy dress. We all know how Agnes always dresses "provocatively" in a good way. I applaud her for always being fashion forward and full of confidence. She wore a body hugging, black lacy dress, showing off her toned body (which I envy of).

So with all the qualities I listed above, I would be surprise if CLEAR did not choose Agnes Monica to become their ambassador. You know, with Agnes being creative, innovative and of course has healthy hair, and CLEAR always support the young and creative crowd.

Apple Crumble at Trattoria
Even though it's late, I wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012. 2011 was a great year for me, the first half was a bit of a blur, but the second half of the year have those moments that I won't forget. I got to reunite with my uni friends that I love most ;D I will post more about it later, I got to blog again, got featured in 4 local magazines! Amazing. 2011 was such a bliss for me. I think it's the perfect time to post about the recent, the hippest fashion event, Brightspot Market. As you all know, on 24 November Brightspot Market has officially opened, even though it's not for public, but I'm lucky enough to get invitation to the event. It was the biggest Brightspot ever. It used to be so hard for me to browse around to see what the brands are offering in their booth, but this place is so big, they actually had more than 100 brands participating. When I arrived at Plaza Senayan, lots of people heading towards the venue. I read from the twitter that lots of people has lined up to buy FTP's tickets and they gonna have the chance to go in to. And boy, it was really crowded. The queue was so long, it reached Marche's entrance. Thank God I didnt have to queue :D

Anyways, I was lucky to be invited by MILCAH, to visit their booth and browse around, and I was told that they're going to launch their webstore soon. A Hint of Gold

I'm really sorry for the lack of post, I've been so busy I don't really have time to write or event take my outfit pictures :( But my sister is back in town, so I will have someone to take my pictures! Anyway... How was your week everyone? Mine was.. a bit rough I guess. I experienced something quite different, quite new to my life, but the past has been done and there's nothing that I can do about it really. All I can do now is to strive being better and do the best that I can do. FIGHTING!

On Friday I also get the chance to go to the opening night of Brightspot. OMG, that place is like a free sauna. BUT, the good thing is that the place is really big so it's really nice to move around compared to the last Brightspot. I managed to buy NIKICIO's dress, top, and accessorries and MILCAH's necklace :D I spent good money on those items! Anyways.. I had an amazing weekend as always :) Thank you God for the 2Fs (Food and Friends). We have to be positive at all times, even in the darkest moments there are lights, even if it's small :) Have a great week ahead everyone! FIGHTING FIGHTING FIGHTING!

As much as I love fashion, I gotta be honest with you.. I'm not that 'expert' when it comes to menswear. I love guys in suits, obviously. I love guys who dress nice, clean, polished, even better when they smell nice! Don't you agree? In short, I love guys who have great taste in fashion and simply can dress himself (he has to know what looks good on him!) Anyway, I'm quite blind when it comes picking up shirts sizes for guys, and I don't know the difference of the pleats, double collar, or anything. I just know my dad's shirt size. But ONE THING I do know (in my own opinion) in order for guys to look good in shirt, those shirts have to be well-fitted. Because when it's too loose or too tight, it will ruin the look! Anyway, I was introduced to this new Singaporean brand called Ronzaro. All they said that I can customize it, but hello!! I didn't know that I can customize the shirt into so many details. My mind was blown away. Like seriously, you have to try it. Their 2nd collection is available today! Grab one now!

When you open the website, www.ronzaro.com you will get to choose which shirt from the available collection you want, after you choose which shirt you want, the website will allow you to choose, what kind of collar you want, they have peter pan collar, classic collar, short collar, even no collar! You will get to choose how you want the fit, if it's slim fit, tapered fit, or classic fit. You even get to choose how the bottom of the shirt's cut, and how the wrist looks like, you want it single or double pleats, and even the back pleats. The best of all... You get to embroidered your initials. In my case, I chose slim fit, with classic collar, double pleats wrist. I embroidered my friend's initial on the left cuff.
After you customized your shirt, you're going to choose the size, you can also choose the customize sizing that you will provide yourself, but I don't bother that much, so I chose the usual sizing. Then you can pay the shirt with credit card and paypal. Shipping time? OMG It was so fast I cant' believe it. It was shipped on Friday, and I think I got it on Tuesday. Less than a week! And it came with a big FedEx box, and when I opened it.. Tara.. You can judge it by looking at these pictures. Can you believe how fast 2011 goes by? It's already 2nd week of November. I'm really sorry for the lack of posts, lately I've been so occupied at work and I've been feeling weak and a wee bit dizzy :( I hope you all had a great weekend! Anyways.. I've been craving for a nice holiday! It's really not nice at all when you still wake up at 6am on Saturday and Sunday :( It has become a habit, waking up so early in the morning. Just like my habit drinking coffee in the morning now. I've used to hate coffee so much, I don't get why people so addicted to it. But now, I drink coffee every(week)day! It's crazy. Really. I also realized few things lately, I'm very attracted to colors and hate the color black.. But when it comes to cocktail dresses for parties like wedding, I always pick a little black dress. I wonder why... Second thing.. You should always keep your guards up. Smile a lot, eat a lot, be happy, be merry, don't think too much! Have a great day everyone~

A Day in Wonderland

Can't thank God enough. Like seriously, my life recently has been like a series of fortunate event. Lots of good, no.. great, no.. AMAZING things happening to me. Thank you Lord for everything! Great job, great friends, great family, great, great, great! I just hope all the things that I'm doing right now is for the better good for everyone else :) I hope I could be a "channel" of blessings to someone else. Anyway, took this pictures few days ago.. Since I couldn't take outfit pics on weekdays anymore, so I've been taking pictures on Sunday and Saturday. I've been feeling great, but my health is a wee bit going down the hill. I guess I should take more vitamins and sleep more. I've been feeling the back pain again :( I hope nothing's serious going on with my body. I hope all of you will have a great week ahead, and by the way...

I'm so proud of BIGBANG winning the MTV EMA Worldwide Act. My boys deserved it! This is a gift from us VIPs + other KPOP fandom, to show them that we're always going to be there for them, through all the ups and downs. This award meant a lot to us BIGBANG + VIP, because with everything has been going on since May, like come on.. DaeSung's accident and GD's marijuana case, BIGBANG need this award. I couldn't stop smiling and screaming when I watched the MTV EMA LIVE at 2am on Monday. 6.11.11 definitely one of the best day I've had this year. BIGBANG DAEBAK!! BIGBANG HWAITING! Come on! I bet you all know that song, don't you? It's Selena Gomez' Love You Like a Love Song, it has been playing on my playlist for almost a month. I can't stop hitting repe-pe-pe-pe-peat :D I know most of you must be can't stop singing or humming that catchy song. Anyways.. It has been a very tiring yet exciting and super fun week for me! Lot's of birthdays and events on the past week, bachelorette and birthday parties! It was all super fun! I love hanging out with my friends. Laughter is indeed the best medicine. Don't you agree? Anyway, shot this in my room, after I got home from work. I hope it turns out okay.. Didn't put any make up in the morning, so I put on some red-orangey lipstick, that is the trend for beauty fall 2011. Marcella Caroline, the girl behind Footloose & FancyFree started her blog 3 years ago, in 2008. She loves writing and scrapbooking. So she kept doing that until she realized that it will be more simple if she blogged about it. Then it became her online diary. And then, she knew that art and fashion couldn't be separated from her. They inspired her.

When she was asked about her personal style, she thinks that "a clothing chameleon" really represents her. She dressed herself according to her moods and wear what she wants to wear. But as time passing by, she said that her feminine side is starting to dominate. "Everybody has their own imagination. Women's appearances vary. You got your style when you got your confidence!" is what she said when she was asked about her opinion to personal style. Do you agree?

As for the Fall 2011 trend, she's going to rock the peter pan collar. I really agree to this! I love collars, and I will follow her footstep rocking this trend :D When asked about her key pieces in her outfits, she said... "confidence". She tends to keep everything in the flow. Like a Seafoam

Took these pictures few months back and I forgot to post it. This is where I found my "signature pose". You know how people has that "perfect angle" that always looks good in picture? Well, I found out that my "perfect angle" was from the left side, and it looks even better when I show my back. I'm sorry I'm very narcissistic. Anyway, I really love this set of pictures. There's gonna be a load of pics overhere, so please don't be mad haha :D

Anyway, I really love my new job. I think it fits exactly to my passion and the things that I love. I hope I could do well in my job and work hard. So I could get all the money and buy the pretty shoes and bags. But most importantly I want to give back to my parents who have raised me until now. I really love them so much and I'm so very thankful for what they've been giving to me. I realized I'm not the best daughter, I'm rebellious and at times emotional and naughty. But, I'll do everything I can in order to make them happy :) Enjoy your week, and most importantly enjoy NOVEMBER!

The girls who wears brown platform shoes named Anastasia Siantar. She made her personal blog recently with the help of her older sister this year, on 20th February 2011. Anaz was first known on the fashion site, LOOKBOOK.nu, she was catching all the attention of users by giving us a very free look. She described her style as free. Because she like to mix and match according to the most essential piece in her look, her shoes.

Anaz loves fringe. When I saw that Preen for EDITION pink fringe vest, I was like.. "Naz.. you have to get that! That is so you!" She loves to mix and match everything that she can spot in her closet as long as it looks nice and comfortable, but catchy at the same time. She's going to Paris very soon, that's why she's really excited about wearing the FALL 2011 trends. She's going to rock gorgeous boots, scarves, coats and not-so-thick jumpers. Anyway, funny story about Anaz.. She was having a really hard time choosing the 3 apparels, so she decided to buy one for herself. Michelle.. Where do I have to begin with Michelle Koesnadi? Michelle is not really a mere "blogger friend" of mine. She became one of my good friends and a person that I could talk and gossip with. Kekeke.. Anyway, Michelle first started blogging back in August 2009. She decided to blog when she came accross several Indonesian fashion blogs that she can relate to. Thank God Michelle decided to blog right?

Her blog, Glisters and Blisters really shows off her moodiness in dressing up. She describes her style as highly moody. It's true, because you can see Michelle in monochrome looks for weeks, and then suddenly she wears this bright pink blazer. She said, "It’s highly mood based and I don’t really have one particular style I stick to. I like to experiment to see what works on me.. Most times I’m inspired by the clothing itself. I work my outfit based on what clothes/accessories I want to wear on the day.." Her key pieces in her outfit? "I love blazers.. I have quite a number of them in different shades.. They’re always useful for me.. I also like to finish my outfit with a nice pair of shoes..let it be flats or heels :)"
As we heading towards the end of 2011, I know Michelle is a big fan of F/W outfits, I know she's a big fan of sweater, cardigans, all those comfortable warming clothes that unfortunately she can't wear here in Jakarta. So when she was asked, which trend she's going to rock this fall, she said that rather looking this at a trend that we can't wear in Jakarta, she's looking at it as good looking items on the runway. Her choice to getting into the fall mood are burgundy jeans, sweaters, and flared tailored pants. She's also loving the metallic/glitter trend.. whether it’s large doses of metallic/glitter or just hints, metallic is something that she loves.
What Michelle thinks about Debenhams? "Debenhams is VERY UK-ish to me. The first thing that jumps into my head is the amount of UK brands in it."

How unflattering my blog title, really? I seriously have no strength left. I've been sleeping so late lately, I've been working non-stop (okay.. I'm exaggerating) Well of course I stop working, but I do need to take some of my works, but it's okay :D I'm having fun doing it! I just miss my time watching my favorite tv shows, spazzing all over TOP's new CK's pictures for 1st Look magazine. OMG. Can't. Breathe.

Anyway, I think this week is the fastest week ever! Tomorrow.. is already Friday. Again! How fast is that? I couldn't believe that we're actually going to face weekend again, which is good, really. I've been so into monochrome shades lately. I like to wear colors in one shade. I think it's very... interesting. Although.. I think you're gonna faint when you see my outfit at work on Wednesday. I wore tangerine top, pink pants.. My outfit matched with my work station! I don't know since when I've became this pinky girl.. I used to hate pink...

Diana Rikasari, the girl behind the famous blog Hot Chocolate & Mint, made her first blog post back in March 2007. Her style that I would describe as quirky and colorful as we saw on her blog, her colorful pictures really came to life when I met her at Debenhams Senayan City last week. She started blogging back then because she likes to write, take pictures, and dress up (we, girls obviously like that too, don’t we?) and she felt that a blog could accommodate all of those things.

D is a very friendly person and I must say that I sense a “cute” vibe coming out from her. When I talk about her personal style with her, she said she would describe her style as “playful, adventurous and “anything goes!”.” I certainly agree to that, as D and I browsed around through the store I kept on saying “This is so YOU!” When she told me that randomness inspires her, well I tend to agree on that too When she was asked about her ideas about personal style,D said it would be crazy as she likes to mix and clash various patterns and fabrics and colors all together. I nodded. One of her key pieces in her outfit is… Can you guess? Tights! If you noticed, almost in every outfit post, D wears tights! She thinks they always add the “oomph” to her outfits.

Shifting through the end of 2011, Fall 2011 trends are everywhere and D’s pick for this season trend is LEATHER and she will definitely rock the trend. I say, we shall wait for her outfit posts?

Just got home after another fun day at work. One of the things that I miss by being unemployed is definitely my time of fan-girling. I miss watching non-stop videos of my favorite oppas. Speaking of oppas.. Remember how I used to be all GD&TOP, Bigbang, very YG biased? Well.. Time has changed, and the virus has spread. I admit it, I'm loving all these Sorry Sorry Bonamana and Mr Simple. It all started when I was watching 2NE1 on Inkigayo and SuJu had their comeback and they were promoting Mr Simple, then I met my friend who resembles Siwon (like a lot) and everytime I see Siwon, it reminds me of him. Then one day I heard Sorry Sorry was played at ZARA, and the rest is history. I can't stop listening to Sorry Sorry and Bonamana. My friend Justine showed me Super Girl, Arkasha told me to watch No Other. All these SuJu make me go michinom!! Well.. KPOP is KPOP. You just can't stop listening to them. First you just hate all of these groups other than your bias, and then you just love them endlessly. It just a matter of time.

Seriously, I just love their dance routine on Bonamana and Sorry Sorry. I love and can't stop smiling when I watch No Other videos, HOW CUTE!! Kyopta!! I think it's only a matter of time until I love 2PM. I watched I'll Be Back video yesterday and I admit it's quite catchy, but still... Ahh.. I don't know.. They're too muscular. My bias on SuJu.. would be, RyeoWook. I love Siwon too, but I like KyuHun too EunHyuk.. and HeeChul.. But DongHae is cute too hahaha.. I still have no idea about their names.. But I just hope I can watch SMTOWN live someday :D But do not worry VIP, BIGBANG IS STILL NUMERO UNO!!!!

Eternally Grateful

Hello everyone! I'm in the state of my life right now where everything is so perfect. I have great friends, great work, great family, great community, great place to live in.. (but not so great wallet condition. I'm super broke!) I've never felt this lucky in my life. I believe everything will be okay, I believe God will never give you problems that you can't deal, I believe He always give you strengths that you need. Lots of things in the past week that really surprised me. I had a lot of work to do, but I seriously love my job, even though I need to restrain myself for shopping, maybe that's another thing I need to conquer, my impulsive buying disorder. LOL.

Anyway, I really thank God sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, even though I've been through shits in the past years, I'm really grateful for where I am right now. I know life is a circle or a wheel that will always rolling, but I believe what I'm feeling right now won't go anywhere.. I kinda feel that this is God's gift to me for the things that I've been through in the past. I won't think about the past anymore, I will focus on my future, and embracing all the good things in life right now! Let's start our day with a smile, that way you won't be negative all day long. Don't worry, God will make a way. Remember, timing is everything. Good things will come in the perfect time.

I cannot stand today's heat. I cannot. This post was written on Sunday 16 October, I don't know exactly when this post is going to published, but seriously I cannot stand today's heat. I know very well that I'm not the type of person who complains about heat, sweats, being tanned, or anything similar, but I have to complain about today. The minute I stepped out from the car, I can feel my sweats are ready to come out from my skin. Anyway, this top is the one I told about, this is the top that Nina Nikicio wore on her show, and I bought it at The Goods Dept afterward. I really love this top, can you see that it is not a snake print shirt? It is a knit print shirt! How cool is that? So many exciting things happening to me right now, can't tell you what they are.. But seriously! Count your blessings, and be thankful for everything! Don't complain. Work hard. Keep smiling :)

Do you know that diamonds are a girls' best friend? I totally agree with that. Why? Because these rocks stay on forever. Boys come and go, these rocks, they stay for life. Geez, I sound like a material girl! But if you've watched Moulin Rouge, you know the song "The Sparkling Diamond" that Nicole Kidman sang in that movie right? I love how lyrically lavish that song is. I do tend to agree though to the song, how love doesn't pay the rent, but diamond does :D
Anyway, if you've read Michelle's blog about her new diamond studs earring, you must check Diamond Jewelry products. Have you watched Mean Girls? That movie, about three girls called "The Plastic". The Queen Bee, Regina George played by Rachel McAdams (the same girl who played The Notebook) didn't give Gretchen (one of her sidekicks) the chance to wear her favorite hoop earrings. My heart almost skipped a beat when I received Nina's message on facebook. It wasn't the first time she ask me to come to her show, I couldn't make it last time, but there's NO way I would skip her show. So there, on Saturday morning (I was quite shocked when she told me that her show is going to be on Saturday morning) at The Goods Dept.

I was this close to miss the show, thank God I got there on time. When I stepped into the venue, I saw Hafiz and he went straight to me and showed me my seat. Guess what? I'm seating front row! Awesome (sorry, I'm so excited). I got the best seat ever, thank you NIKICIO team ;D Anyway, the show started with a really catchy slow tune. I really love the show playlist. I was already stunned when I saw the first look. From what I know, NIKICIO rarely put fluorescent color into its color palette. And what did I saw on the show? More colorful clothes or accessories I might say?

Anyway, one of the pieces that I like is the high slit silk pattern skirt, but unfortunately the piece is not available yet, instead I bought the pattern silk shirt that Nina wore that day (also I bought the brown bag). I found the hair and make up really good. I was in awe all the time when models are coming out from the backstage. I really love the styling and I think each clothes are really special. I was surprised when I found out the the pattern that NIKICIO used in this collection is not ANIMAL PRINT, I thought it was a snake skin print, APPARENTLY, it's a grey sweater print. Writing this post in the middle of work, on Saturday. Not to complain or anything, but I love my job, all the things that I do at work are all the things that I basically do in daily life. I would grasp on to this job and learn everything that I could learn from my colleagues and bosses. Anyway, I can't stop thinking about this dress since the first time I saw it. I'm really glad that I bought it. I just want to say that I'm really grateful and feel really blessed about where I am right now. I have a great job, great circle of friends, great colleagues, lovely parents, siblings who love me, a friend who always supports me doing this blog. I can't complain about anything. I'm just gonna enjoy my life right now. Just have fun! Don't think too much. Be thankful for everything that has happened to you. Don't forget to smile :)

EVENT// Hermès: Paris Mon Ami

First of all, I want to say a big THANK YOU to Michelle who has invited me and my friends to the event. Please invite me to another event ya, Chel! Hahaha :P Anyway, Michelle was kindly enough to invite me because she was one of the host for the event. Let me tell you, she looked so gorgeous and very pretty! I really love it when she smiles. The event was held at Pacific Place, it was an outdoor event but thank God the weather was nice so we didn't get sweaty! Around 4pm the event started and people started coming. I saw a lot of Hermès bags from Kelly to Nelly LOL. The place was decorated a wee bit "moroccan-ish". A block of orange block in the middle of the area, and big size bangles with bold color pillows decorated the stage. The area was surrounded with drink, games, and food booths.

There were games, food, drinks, photo booth.. It was so much fun! I was really happy to get the chance to come to this kind of event. Of course the photos would be all orange-y and pink-y, it's Hermès! Also, at the photo booth I got the chance to wear the Hermès scarf, I chose it to wear it as a turban. I think it looked cute ;P Anyway, it was a really fun event and I would like to come again if I got invited, again. Enjoy the pictures!

Today is the first day that I feel that I have so much work to do which is good, you know. But, I'm really in a hurry right now, I'm trying to do several things at once, too bad I'm not that great at multitasking. All I can do right now is just to do the best that I can do! Anyway, I've been very attracted to this kind of shorts right now. This short looks like skirt, but it's short. In my opinion, it looks very cute and interesting. I'm not a big fan at online shopping in Indonesia, because I know how some clothes are very photogenic, but I was surprised when I got this short from Auburn and Ginger. The price is very reasonably cheap but the all the stitching, cuts, and even the fabric is really good. I'm super satisfied :)

Yes! Finally an outfit post! But I don't really like these pictures, I look so... tired? Can you tell? I didn't wear any make up. I took these pictures early in the morning, so the lighting didn't come out nicely :( Anyway, I've been seeing a lot of denim on denim outfit lately, so I decided to snatch my mom's top and mix it with my denim. I think it came out nice; but I didn't feel good with the shoes. I think I need another pair of shoes? Hahahaha.. Ah what do you think? I love this hat very much.. Annyeong haseyo yeoreobun! How are you guys? I'm really sorry for the lack of posts, I'm really trying to give you new outfit post, but I just can't. I'm working from 9 to 5, and there's no way I could take pictures during lunchtime. So I'll just update you with some pictures that I took few weeks ago. I hope you guys had a great time this week. Tomorrow is Friday, can you believe it?

Anyway, I must say, RIP Steve Jobs. I'm deeply saddened by this loss. I think he's still quite 'young' and I really hope he's still here with us. I'm eternally grateful by the things that he has offered to us. My first Apple product wasn't iPod. My first Apple product was the White Macbook 13" that still has that glossy look. I bought it on 2008 Chinese New Year. It was February 13th.

I've never used a Mac before that, but I must say that I was really satisfied when I tried it. It was so user friendly, simple, clean look, and the best thing? NO VIRUS. I would definitely recommend anyone who are slow with technology and gadget thingy, to use Apple products. I will never ever go back to Windows again (sadly I'm using Windows at work). Anyway, After 3 and a half years relationship with my white macbook that I use and bring everywhere I go, being the Apple trio with my girls at uni, I finally change or I must say upgrade my macbook to an iMac. I've been longing for an iMac for a really long time. I'm really satisfied right now. Other than iMac & Macbook, I also use iPod and iPhone 3GS. I must say until now iPhone is still the best phone that I've used in my life. So much better than Blackberry. If not for my friends, I won't buy a BB. Anyways, thank you Uncle Steve to make my life better. You'll be missed.

PS: I'm buying the new iPhone4S ~ iPhone 4 Steve.

A Big Bang Experience

As you guys know.. I watched GD&TOP and SeungRi performing live at the Formula 1 Grand Prix at Singapore 2 weeks ago. It has been a dream for me to watch BIGBANG live (especially GD&TOP, because they're my favorite oppas!). Anyway I didn't think for a second whether I should buy the ticket or not, I just buy it straight away. Well, let me tell you something.. I went to Singapore alone, I know.. So much dedication just for these oppas, but hey don't judge me I bet you'll do the same thing if you love them. It's not embarrassing for me to say that I went alone, well I love travelling alone, sometimes it's a lot better to go alone rather than going with someone else. Anyway, that week was my last week to have that kind of freedom, as you all know right now.. I'm working on weekdays.

On Thursday September 22nd 2011, I went to Singapore in the morning, not knowing what to expect at the concert, I have no idea what I'm going to do on the next day, but THANK GOD I checked my soompi message, and I found a VIP asking me whether I want to join them or not, oh well I guess why not? So as I arrive at Singapore, after cleaning myself up I went to City Hall MRT straight, to go to the Stamford Hotel where I have to take my tickets! I must say, for $38 that ticket is really good. The quality is so great, it looks like an ID Card. Damn! Well, on that day I just went to H&M, ION, and met my friends. Didn't have the time to eat Bonchon 4Fingers though :(

THE DATE. Friday, September 23rd 2011.. I started my morning by going to H&M and I went to City Hall MRT at 12pm to meet up with my VIP friends that I just knew barely yesterday only by whatsapp and text message. Anyway, apparently I made a lot of friends that day. I went to Singapore alone, and I made new friends with Indonesian and Singaporean VIPS. VIP Rules! Long story short, I queued since 1pm and the show didn't even start until 11.10pm. Crazy? Yes. It was effing hot, I was sweating, running, waiting like crazy. But time really passed me by, I didn't really believe that I waited that long, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, I can't define to you what I'm feeling when I was watching them. They're so perfect, they sound so freaking good. Their voices are so much better than the records. NO FLAWS. GD's english was soooo fucking perfect and the best thing about the concert was where GD&TOP performed WEARING my favorite outfits of them. It was the best visual I've ever had in my life. I know you guys must be sick reading this, but that day was one of the most epic day that I've ever had in my life. I will never forget that day. It was so awesome.

Well, I'll try break it down to you what happened that day. At 1pm I start queueing in front of Gate 3, it's located around 500m near Raffles City McDonald. I got there quite early so I wasn't really queuing really long. The fanzone at the concert arena only limited to 2000 first fans that got the 'wristband' So we, VIPs are running like crazy after we got our bag checked at the gate. We're like chasing for something and we were out of breath. Still, we just got in into the concert arena STILL NOT THE FANZONE was at 4pm. And the fanzone arena was opened at 7pm, because Charice was performed at 8.30pm. See? We VIPs are crazy, and we put so much dedication to these oppas, we have to watch Charice performing live first. There were dramas when we're waiting for the fanzone gate to open, where we can be 'near' to the stage. People were start coming around 7pm so there are these aunties and these idiot people who wanted to cut the line. I mean, we were queuing since 1pm for fuck's sake and you think we're gonna let you cut our queue? NO WAY MAN. VIP were uniting and when we were running like mad, not accepting people and kind elbowing them so they're not cutting the line. haha it was epic. Anyway, after Charice performing we still have to wait around 2 hours in order to meet our oppas. It was fast though, at 11.15pm DJ Murf was playing 2NE1 songs, which I really appreciate, BUT I really want to see GD&TOP performing more songs rather than just 4 songs. SeungRi performed first, singing VVIP, Strong Baby, and What Can I Do. After that GD&TOP came out wearing these glorious outfit with full of SWAG, they're singing Intro, Knockout, Oh Yeah, and High High. After that for the encore they were singing How Gee.

I must say I was really satisfied with the performance. I cannot wait until I watch the 2012 BIGSHOW. I will go to Seoul just to watch them! hahaha :D Anyway, I don't have the time to read my post all over again, I'm sorry if there's any gramatical mistake. Hehe

I'm really sorry for the lack of posts. I've been so busy at work, I came home late, then I went to sleep straight away. I need to get up at 6am on weekdays, I'm still adjusting right now with my new schedule. Anyway, this is one of the pics that I took when I was in Singapore 2 weeks ago. Since then, a lot of great things happened to me, even though lately I've been feeling so... weird and hormonal. But after set things aside, I decided that I should listen to my best friends. I need to relax and the most important thing is just to enjoy the moment right now. Don't you think so? Rather than rushing things and get too emotional about everything, it's the best just to live at the moment and not think too much about what's going to happen later on hahaha. Brighter than Sunshine

If you've watched Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet's movie called A Lot Like Love, you must be familiar with the title of this blog. The soundtrack, sung by Aqualung called Brighter than Sunshine is one of my favorite songs of all time. It's very peaceful, meaningful, and kind of describing what I'm feeling right now except one thing, I don't have anyone who is mine right now. Nevertheless, for you single ladies, forget about your heartbreaking past, forget about those douches, move on, live your life to the fullest, and enjoy every moment!

Anyway, this is my third trial using the tripod+remote, my second trial's result was like so ugly I don't want to post it. You can see the remote in few pictures, I still haven't get used to it hahaha. The sweater was one of my purchase at H&M. It was quite cheap and worth every penny. I really love the model and the color. So why not huh? Anyways... I was so shocked when I saw this set of pictures. Why? Because my hair is freaking light brown O_O I used to have a really black hair, I don't know why but my hair freakishly turned to light brown, well I guess it's in my genes because my mom and my sister have brown-red-ish hair. It's funny how when I go to salon, the hairdresser/stylist asked me, "Did you dye your hair?" I was like, "No.."

This bag is the prize that I got from femaledaily.com for winning the 10for10 Contest back in August. I was so happy to receive this bag because the bag resembles me wallet from Topshop and the leather's quality is just lovely (well I guess price doesn't lie). The thing about this bag is, the studs tangled with my sweater so some of the threads like coming out. It made me really sad :(

EVENT// RAOUL Fashion Blogger Styling Competition

If you're following my twitter, you must know that since last week I've been buzzing about RAOUL's event that I joined. This event is held by RAOUL, and they're doing it in RAOUL Senayan City which is near Calvin Klein, Ted Baker, Banana Republic, etc. Anyway.. I was afraid that I'm gonna find dark colors, because I'm not a fan of them, but I was relieved when I saw some tangerines! Well, anyway tomorrow they're going to start the voting period. Spring/Summer 2012: Erdem

Even though London Fashion Week has ended, I just think that I need to share this with you. SS 2012 Collection of Erdem is one of my favorites collection this season. Why? Because there are lot of flowers, colors, collars, skirts, shirts, dresses, and flowers. Flowers. Flowers. Flowers everywhere! The colors are fabulous, I just want to have all of the clothes. The shoes is also really cute, pointed with ankle strap. Have I told you about the flowers? On the lace? So gorgeous, feminine, chic, ah.. very lovely! I just love it. I think the make up is very simple too, I love the bright red lips. And in my opinion, the hat and the sunglasses are just uber cute, not forgetting the lace gloves too :D I feel like I'm in a garden full of flowers when I was viewing this collection. Don't you think so?

EVENT// COACH Fall 2011 Collection Preview

Got invited by Gricia from GRAZIA magazine to the Fall 2011 Collection Preview of COACH. I must say that I like the new collection. I think some of the bags fit to my style and it's an everyday bag. The color are just nice and the shape is just perfect. It's not too big or too small. I met Fhenny and Heidy at the event. H&M Singapore

As you all know, I went to Singapore on Thursday to watch GD&TOP + SeungRi concert on Friday late night. One of my plans going to Singapore was to visit the newly open, the "hippest" place in town, all the buzz that has been going around for quite some time, thew new H&M store that just opened on 3rd of September (if I'm not wrong) in Singapore! It was exciting, because the closest H&M store that we can visit is in Hong Kong (and that's not a 1 hour+ flight isn't it?)

There are 3 levels available in the big store, 2 for womenswear and 1 for menswear + kids. On the first floor you can find all the H&M collection mostly the pricy one, along with the accessories. On the second floor, you can find the DIVIDE collection, I think this is similar with ZARA TRF Collection, and also the LINGERIE section. And on the third floor, it's divided between menswear and kids section.

I went to the store as soon as I arrived at Orchard. Singapore was full of tourist because of the F1 Grand Prix event, but boy even though it was Thursday, still work time, the store was fully crowded. The queues to the fitting room, cashier were like crazy. I didn't have enough determination to browse around in such crowded place, because shopping in a big crowd just doesn't turn me on. So I look around to see the price, man.. It was expensive! But the basics are pretty cheap. In my opinion, you need to really look around because I went there again on the next day, IN THE MORNING at 11am and it was still crowded, but NOT that crowded and on the 2nd day I found some clothes that are worth buying, considering the price and the quality of the product.
If you're asking for opinion, I would say that shopping at H&M was pretty great. I mean, I spend a good amount of money for a lot of clothes + accessories. You just need to really be patient, choose wisely, and look carefully. About the products that are available on those 2 days, I found the menswear are more satisfying compared to the womenswear. I found the menswear collection really great, I love it! I almost bought a shirt, too bad it was too big :( By the way, the fitting room on the menswear section is more unoccupied compared to the other 2 fitting rooms, also the cashier's queue on the 3rd floor is very empty. So fast! Anyways, here are some pictures that I took secretly before someone asked me not to take picture.

A Day Worth Remembering

Here it is, another step that I took in my life. I've been praying for this happen for the past 6 months, I've been hoping that I would find the place that would give me more experience, a place where I could expand my skills and meet new friends. My prayers have been answered recently by God, and I really thank Him for that, I don't know what will I do without Him, really.

Last week, a day in my life, on Sept 14th 2011, I began my day with a smile and I ended it even with a bigger smile. It was a day worth remembering, a day that will completely change my life forever. I don't want to jinx anything right now, but I would say that it will be harder for me to blog whenever I want, BUT I will do as hard as I can to blog just like the usual. This week is my last week to wake up at 9am or late, this week is my last week to go to bed purposely at 3 in the morning. So as my friend Justine said to me, "just enjoy your Saturday, lay on your bed just like me right now, because probably it's your last time." I was like "Okay..." when she said that. But you know what, she was right. This week I've been living it to the max, making my free time as fun as it gets! Thank you so much everyone for the support and giving me all the happiness.

EVENT// Etro Menswear Fall 2011 Show

First of all, let me thank my friend, Crystalia for inviting me with her to this event. This is my first fashion show ever. So I'm pretty excited and wondering what kind of ambience that the show will offer. The show was held Plaza Indonesia' Function Hall, and there are still many shows to come, I was invited to Jean Paul Gaultier on Thursday, but unfortunately I couldn't come because I'm going to watch GD&TOP at Singapore yeay!!!

Anyway, the collection was described to have "winter animals feeling" to it, but I don't see or feel anything like it. Nevertheless!!! I spot 2 cute and hot guys on the show, I think both of them are models. HOT models. God, I was out of my mind, I can't stop smiling. I can't stop thinking how ridiculously cute they are. I must say, best entertainment of the night ;P And oh, damn I'm still practicing on my new camera. It was hard for me to take the pictures yesterday, some of the pictures are blurry :(

This is going to be the longest post ever. More than 20+ pictures. GORGEOUS pictures of course. I cannot tell you how much I love Matthew's collection. I love it. I really love the accessories, shoes, bags, make up, hair, the clothes, styling. PERFECT. I can see myself wearing these looks. I love all the colors, so bright, lots of pattern, but still really simple, very easy, and effortless. I love the lightweight maxi-shirt with a slit at the front. Very sexy! I think i might to search for one now! I really love the orange and green in this collection, they are very bright colors and I think Matthew played the colors really well. I cannot stop saying how much I love this collection. And have you seen Erdem SS2012? GORGEOUS!

Back to Matthew Williamson, why I love this collection is because the clean, polished, chic, yet so effortless look. Lots of buttons up, love the straight pants, I think those pants perfect for work. Can't get enough of the patterns. Those shoes.. Love the pumps, but not the other one :P Love the aqua color pop in this collection too. And did you see Anja Rubik? She's so pretty! She's glowing~

Proenza Schouler is also one of my favorite, I really love their clean looks with a wee-bit of colors. I thought I won't see any floral prints on PS, but boy I was wrong.. They were also sporting the new trend. I'm surprised that I didn't see Kirsten Stewart on the front row, I guess because she's in London shooting Snow White? Because I saw her at Mulberry front row, beside Kate Moss. I love how Proenza feels very masculine, but feminine at the same time. I love to see those aqua shade on the runway!

Anyway, I love to see a lot of pencil skirt, blazer, and jacket on the runway. Very polished and chic! And I really love the make up, I'm going to look over at temptalia and wondering what they're using :D So clean, I really love this no-makeup-makeup look. :D

Do you know what's the first thing that came to my mind when you say the word, "DVF"? Big patterns, colorful. Those are the things that attached to me about DVF. And those are the things that Diane gave in her collection. Flower pattern is a trend in SS 2012 as you can see in numerous collections, and Diane gave us a really big flower patterns with bright colors like tangerine and aqua. I think we will see a lot of tangerine this season. My opinion in this collection? I love the colors, but I think the shape of the clothes are very feminine, so I couldn't imagine myself wearing some of the looks ;P But nevertheless, I love it :D

Okay, this is probably too late, but I want to share with you some of the looks that I like from the NYFW. Even though NYFW has ended, and LFW is on going right now, there are some designers collection that I want to share. One of them is Prabal Gurung, it was quite a stir when people first see it, and I understand why. I really love the patterns the he used in this collection, the clean structured look, playful color mix between purple and green, and I love how Frida's closed the show :) Anyhow, I don't really like the styling on some of the models, but these are some of the looks that I like! Last weekend I joined my fellows fashion blogger friends at Spot à Vendre. It was my first time to join such thing like fashion bazaar with other bloggers, it was exciting and I had a lot of fun. Too bad I didn't have pictures detailed about the event, because I was having too much fun talking to my friends haha. I had lunch with Michelle and our friends at Pand'Or near the Wisma EMHA building. I use BB Cream or tinted moisturizer when I feel my face is dry, if they're not that dry I'm going to use mineral powder as my base. As for my lips, I have a lot of lipbalm as you can see below, that's because I have a very dry lip. I need to moisturize it anytime I can. I like lipstick more than lipgloss.

As for the eyes, I always use NARS Smudgeproof for my eye base, in order to keep my eye make up in place. This is really helpful, because it will make your eyeshadows color go "out" and keep your eyeliner stay in their place. I think the best black pencil eyeliner goes to Urban Decay 24/7 and the best mascara is Chanel Inimitable. Don't forget Shu Uemura eyelash curler, seriously the price worth every penny, if you're Asian you should buy this. It was design for Asian eyes, so the structure of the curler fits perfectly on our small eyes ;)

Now, onto eyeshadows. For you on the tight budget, you should get a Coastal Scents palette, because they a wide range choice of palettes. But in my opinion, this one is really just perfect because you get so many shades of eyeshadows, and you get a nice 6 shades of BLUSH! I gotta say, best eyeshadow goes to Urban Decay, the colors are so rich, very well pigmented and they last all day long with the help of UD Primer Potion/NARS Smudgeproof. I bought the Alice in Wonderland palette because of my love of Disney, and the NAKED Palette is just the perfect everyday palette. Worth every penny.

A lot of people has been asking me what kind of things that I use for my make up and about my daily beauty regiments. So I decided to make one :D Truth to be told, I'm very fortunate to have never experience bad acne problems, if you know what I mean. I'm very thankful to have dry and sensitive skin even though it's very very annoying, that's why most of my beauty products are functioned to be hydrating and moisturizing. I'm going to divide this "beauty post" into two posts, this one is going to be about beauty products that I use daily like cleanser, mask, etc and the next post is going to be about my make up collection. Let's start! Oh yea, this post is NOT SPONSORED. I bought them with my (parents') money and these opinion are based on my experience :D

Body Lotion: St. Ives - Soothing/ Oatmeal & Shea Butter

For your information, I have a very dry skin, my elbows, arms, and legs used to be so dry, it would leave white marks when you try to scratch it. I have allergies to extremely cold weather because my skin is so dry. My skin would start getting very itchy and it will rash like everywhere on my tummy. That's why this body lotion from St. Ives is a life saver, it was made purposely for my type of skin. I used to use Jergens' Ultra Healing, but this one works better and smell nicer. I recommend you not to use body lotion that are fruity or floral scented like body lotion from Bath and Body Works, The Body Shop, or Victoria Secret because those body lotion (from MY PAST EXPERIENCE) makes your skin hairy and they just don't work to moisturize your skin, they're more like lotion to make your skin smells good. But hey, that's just me!

My tips for nice and flawless face? NEVER EVER LET ANYONE EVEN YOURSELF touch your face. Especially when you are not really a hygiene freak like me, you rarely wash your hands and you touch your face all the time, you will have acne and breakouts, trust me. Always wash your face twice a day, it's better if you have 2 options for the cleanser, one with beads/scrubs (to clean your pores) and one without beads. Because if you use too many scrubs, it's not good for your skin, so you need to change it between day/night. It's very important to use SUNBLOCK. You don't want to get skin cancer or wrinkles in your young age, don't you? And I do put mask on my face once a week, it will hydrate your skin, really nice. I recommend face masks from The Face Shop. The second picture are my make up cleansers, you can get them at Watsons or any Supermarket. Just DO NOT FORGET TO WIPE OFF THOSE MAKE UP BEFORE YOU GO TO BED NO MATTER HOW LAZY YOU ARE.

Lastly, these are my hair products. I bought them in Singapore, I use the wax to hold my waves cus I permed my hair 2 months ago, and the juicy shower is like a moisturizing spray with fruity scents, so it will make your hair soft and smells nice :D

Trial and Tribulation

I'm very excited as this is my first post using my new camera. I'm not a professional photographer and I realized I need to learn a lot more from the pros :) I hope in the future I could take pictures as good as Tommy Ton from JakandJil. I finally got myself a tripod, and these pictures that I'm going to show you, are the first pictures that I took by myself using a tripod. I don't think it went well though, I haven't get used to the camera, the tripod, the remote, the lens, practically everything. I need to learn a lot more about the camera and need to do more practice. Please let me know what do you think of these pictures :D
Because I got home pretty late in the afternoon yesterday, I didn't have the time to put any make up on my face, I just put on what I'm going to wear pick the shoes and just shot these pictures, so no accessories too. This is my bare face, no foundation, no concealer. I thought it would be awful because I didn't get enough sleep lately and I just don't look good bare face in camera. Apparently it didn't look so bad. Hahaha God I'm such a narcissist.
As for the outfit, I fell in love with the shirt-blouse since the first time I saw it on ZARA, went to the store a week ago, they don't have my size so I tried one size bigger to see if it will fit, but it didn't. I thought, oh well.. Maybe it's not my destiny to buy this cloth. But on Sunday, I found my size at another ZARA store then I bought it kekeke. I have this rule of shopping, but sometimes I just forget about this particular rule when I really want it bad. So the rule is to not buy impulsively. I told myself not to buy something at one go. Always try the things you want to buy, see if it fits you perfectly, see whether if there's any hole, or bad sewing, and check on the price. If the quality worths the price, and it's very cheap, and it's on sale, just go for it. BUT, if it's expensive, and it's still new, but selling out pretty fast, just let it go. Then go for a walk out from the store. If you're not thinking about it, then it's not for you. If you're still thinking about it, go to the store again, check it out again, and WALK OUT again and go home. Later on, at home, if you're still thinking about it, go to the store again, if it's still there, buy it, if it's not.. well it's not your destiny. But lately I've been ditching this rule of mine. I really need to grab on to it very tight.

Peter Som's collection is very colorful, chic, simple, and pretty! I love it.. but not all of the looks. I just show you the looks that I love :D The flower print pants really reminds me of Jil Sander though, but nevertheless it's very pretty. The fuschia long dress also reminds me a bit of Calvin Klein.. I can see myself wearing this collection :P

There are more collections coming! I don't really like Alexander Wang, but I love and kinda hate Prabal Gurung, DVF collection. I'll show you tomorrow. I'll be updating this blog with the newest S/S 2012 Collection!

Nicole Richie is one of my fashion muses. What I love from her style is that she's very effortlessly stylish. She looks so chic from head to toe, I love her hair! She wears oversized kimono match it with heels or flats or gladiators and oversized bag, very bohemian, very laidback. Well, even though I really like her style, I don't think I'll be able to pull off something like that. Few months back, I purchased this Supre's maxi skirt, gotta say I love it but I'm having problems wearing it. I don't think my body look good in long skirt, but then after trying few clothes on with this skirt, I remember that I have this Steve Madden gladiators and so.. I kinda style them a bit bohemian? I don't know.. I think it kinda looks good.. But ah.. I don't know.. What do you think?

Jason Wu. Where do I have to begin with him? He is one of my favorite designers. His designs are so chic, polished, yet very sexy. I remember so well how I really love his past collection with all those thigh-high front slits. His designs is very well-fitted, colorful (ha!), and neat. I don't know why but I've been always so keen to see his collection. I love him. I LOVE him! I hope someday I would be able to wear one of his designs.

His SS 2012/2013 collection didn't disappoint me at all. I love the colors, structure, cut, print, every single thing, well maybe except the shoes. The shoes are not my cup of tea, but I'm pretty sure it will grow on me. One thing that I'm sure of, big flower prints, lightweight fabric, silk/chiffon shirt, and asymmetrical cuts are really trending on the runway. I've seen loads of the SS2012 collection sporting these trends, watch out people! Oh, bright pastel colors seemed to be the trend too. I saw a lot of pink, yellow, and green shades, better watch out people! Time to look out for these type of clothes :D

Anyway, I love his asymmetrical cuts in this collection by using the lightweight fabric. I love how he always sticks to his "signature" (well this is me, my amateur brain talking about fashion) look, if you've noticed, he always use a very thin, almost transparant fabric that sometimes most of the models' nipples are see-through. Whoopsie! But I like it (bwahahahaha). The show started with a very 'flowy' easy breezy looks, very neat chic, and towards the end he plays with big floral pattern then with a bit of color, more color, change it into a different color, just exactly my cup of tea, then it got more structure, more feminine bold cut, and then the finale, big asymmetrical gown with three different colors. Well, I don't know what I have to say about this collection other than I LOVE IT!

So basically you should know first that I don't like man with big muscles. How big? Well.. 2PM's muscles are way too big for me, I think from all 2PM's member, I can tolerate Junsu. Because my friend said he's a friend of GD and he's the most stylish one, so yeah, I like Junsu. I like skinny-toned guys, and I think Francisco had this amazing hot body that made me go... aaaaaaaaaaaaaah. I was like smiling the whole time watching the video above, so MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THE VIDEO. OMAGAH! I found another video (watch it!) Don't you think he kinda look like a younger, more American (he's from Brazil) version of Ed Westwick aka Chuck Bass? But he looks like Chace Crawford. OMAGAH. I cannot handle this, I'm going to pray, hoping that I would have a husband like him, so I could have a genetically blessed children.

Browsing through fashiongonerogue and found this lovely editorial for VOGUE China. My recent obsession would be Asian models, I've seen a lot of them blossoming and making this big break on fashion industry in the past year. It's so nice to see Asian faces on these fashion magazines, because somehow I feel related. And I've come to realization that VOGUE is such a great magazine "franchise" Why I say franchise? Because there a lot of VOGUEs out there! I love all of them but not VOGUE US. I think American VOGUE is somehow overstated. I think VOGUE China, Korea, Japan, Spain, British, and Australia have better content, editorials, and reviews (even though I can't understand what they're talking about because I can only understand English) than American VOGUE. Well, that's just my humble and amateur opinion :)

Anyway, I really love this editorial because there are a lot of colors! Pink, blue, purple, yellow.. I like the styling, it's so clever to use the color block trend by using the same shade. You know what I mean? The stylist didn't use the obvious color block trend that I do all the time, by mixing green with red, blue with yellow, or etc, but Morgan Pilcher, the stylist, he styled the the clothes that are in the same shades in one look. So in this monochrome look but there are a lot of colors. Lovely! Just lovely!

DAZED&CONFUSED Korea: July 2011

Few months ago, around the end of May I think, I was freaking out when I found out that BIGBANG is going to be on the cover of DAZED&CONFUSED Korea July 2011. And later I found out again, that each of them are going to have their own cover and the quantity of the magazine that are going to be printed is limited. My heart crushed when I read it, because how the hell am I supposed to buy a Korean magazine that is freaking limited? My heart crushed even more when I saw their pictorials, which were amazeballs and only 100 magazines per cover! Aigoo..

Well, after days of searching, I finally found someone on tumblr that were going to order, and then she gave me the contact person. So impulsively I ordered two magazines, G-Dragon and T.O.P versions. How am I supposed to choose between them? Anyways, I supposed to receive the magazine around July but unfortunately my friend that helped me to get the magazine (the seller is at Singapore, and she doesn't do overseas shipments, so I asked my friend to buy it for me- lots of effort. I know) is going back home to Jakarta, well few months later, just 2 weeks ago I went to Singapore, and I finally get my hands on the magazines (I met the seller and got the magazine by myself)! Ah... I'm so happy because thank God, each magazines with different covers has different pictorials. Like, if you buy TOP's version, you will get more pictorials of him, and visa versa to other four. On top of that, one of my favorite editorials that I saw on fashiongonerogue on May, was on that magazine! Talk about coincidence, so well, I do not regret buy the magazines (2 of them). Kekekeke here it is... enjoy!

And here it is.. My favorite part of the magazine, BIGBANG editorials/pictorials. I love how fierce they are in these pictures, I also love the styling, I love GD's cover especially his contact lenses. I see they are wearing a lot of Chrome Hearts accessories, later in this post, I'm going to share behind the scene video. And don't you think GD's picture remind you of Legolas from Lord of The Ring? There's a picture of comparison of how they look like Legolas, Edward Cullen, Willy Wonka, and other character. I found it really funny but somehow true ;) Anyways, I think GD's long blonde hair is kinda greasy and disgusting, but I think he still can pull it off. TOP looks very charming and cute as always. If you notice the details, they are wearing minx nail polish the silver one, I think it looks so cool and I'm going to buy one ;p Unfortunately because of eye infection TOP didn't join the other member for the photoshoot that's why there are no group picture :( But it's okay they delivered a great job, don't you think? 빅벵 사랑헤, 화이팅!!
